It's Great to be Me by Melissa Ahonen is an inspirational book for young children, and even adults too! The book is based on loving yourself and accepting who you are, just the way you are. Each page has a different affirmation that children can learn from. Each affirmation is explained simply so that any child reading can understand and realize just how special they are. It's Great to be Me is an incredibly beneficial book that every child should read. So what are you waiting for? Grab a copy and let the self-love begin! Talented author Melissa Ahonen has done an amazing job at promoting self-love in her beautifully written book It's Great to be Me. I love how she has given examples of different ways children can love and accept who they are. They may not be aware of how amazing and special they are, so a book like It's Great to be Me will be the perfect pick-me-up they need in times when they may be feeling low. The illustrator, Daria Shamolina, has created attractive characters that children will love and relate to. Simple rhyming has been used and it works and flows perfectly. I highly recommend anyone who has children to buy a copy of It's Great to be Me as it is a fun read and your child will benefit a lot from it. Well done, Melissa and Daria, your talents work nicely together and you have created a book children will love!
